The more I think about the postmodernism thing, the more I am sure that this is, in fact, the original roots of literature. I might write some more about it, one way or the other.

I wold be curious to read – I fell in love with post-modernism in college, then when I moved to study medieval literature in Munich, I realized that medieval writers like Wolfram von Eschenbach were at heart post-modernists.ah but that was a long time ago (my time at Uni) - thanks for commenting and subscribing and keep up the good work!
