I am glad that Soaring Twenties Club exists. Is it as V. Ivanov's Tower in 1920es of Petersburg?Костя, You are becoming American Saltykov- Schedrin in my олд eyes. Bravo!

Thank you so much, Larisa! That's very high praise, although I probably don't deserve neither 'Saltykov-Schedrin' nor 'American' (but for different reasons).

It's an interesting comparison. It is the same idea as Ivanov's Wednesdays, but surely this idea is very common, especially in the internet age. STSC is specifically a couple of dozens of people, some of whom are exceptionally talented—check out Vanya Bagaev!—that help each other out by discussing and sharing their creations.

My praise comes from Russian memory. The older I become the more Russian I am. S.-Sch.'s name was first in my mind as an inspiration for you, the younger generation of Russians in this country. I am preparing Blok. Would you like to translate some of his poems, if you are not very busy?

Brilliant piece. Perhaps we have been living in a 'Mutademocracy' for some time, and are thus already seeing its feared side effect manifesting in our politicians. Thank goodness this is only fiction... ;-)
