Excellent composition of Kharms' texts , photographs and your text. I am surprised, how you found all this material? In my time, at Leningrad University we couldn't say any good words about anybody, besides Socialist Realism Soviet mediocrity. MOLODETS!

This is very interesting and reminds me of a Russian writer/poet I met at an open mic in Wedding, his deadpan delivery and absurd stories were so "Kharms" Here's his Insta: https://www.instagram.com/null_ohm/

Thanks, I'll check him out.

Kharms is very well-known in modern Russian culture, and is a seminal influence.

Случаj Хармс / Slućaj Harms / The Harms Case, 1987 Yugoslav drama film ( cult classic ) directed by Slobodan D. Pešić, produced by RTV Beograd, TRZ Film i ton and Morava film, was the official Yugoslav entry at the 1988 Cannes Film Festival / originally 'Slućaj Harms', a short story written by Dubravka Ugrešić is an example of postmodern realization of an old and having its own traditional rules epistolary novel. There are two versions of the story. One appeared as the afterword to Ugrešic’s translation of short stories by Daniil Kharms, the second version was published thirteen years later in a collection 'Ziivot je bajka'. Both versions have a common main character, and sender of the letters, crazy translator Vodka U, who under the influence of Kharms’ short stories begins to imitate his style and adopts his personality.
