I read the review first when published by Astral Codex Ten. Victor Frankl is one of the authors who left a very deep and profound effect on me, so when I saw the review's title I r a n to read it, one can say.
I was extremely impressed with it, to the degree I shared the link with my friends .
That was before I came here recently, with some strange idea that I found a place to write-for now, it seems I found a place to read, which might be even better, of course.
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for letting know about your wanting to hear comments, too-sometimes one wants to comment, but is really not sure, whether it won't interrupt some inner rhythm, much more important than the comment.
It's probably like when you see a stream and a rock-and you decide not to throw a rock.
Thanks for the kind words and for sharing the thing around! I worked quite a lot on it.
I read "Man's Search for Meaning" relatively recently, and it did leave a mark. So when the ACX contest was announced, I knew, what I'd like to write about. It's an important book, especially in our times.
For a long time, I used LJ as my primary platform and then switched to Telegram, where the comments were not fully implemented. Eventually I understood that I did like the comments, and, in fact, they were an integral part of what I'm writing. So I really do encourage them, and will always try to answer.
Thanks for this Konstantin – it's really good, thought-out and rewarding – in the confusion of life we forget to think about who we are, and reading this made me think again about the core of my existence. Don't know if it changed anything but pointing map minds in the right direction was a service, thanks.
